About Ted

Ted Ely has been a Senior Loan Officer at the Embrace Home Loans Frederick, MD branch since 2014.

Prior to joining Embrace, he was a Loan Officer at Movement Mortgage and a Branch Manager at Universal Mortgage. Ted is also a Persian Gulf War Veteran, serving in the US Army from 1986 to 1994. 

Soon after leaving the Army, he embarked on his career in the mortgage industry. For more than 20 years, he has been guiding and educating first-time buyers and seasoned homeowners through all the options available to them. His goal is to help his customers make a sound decision that they can feel great about it.

Ted grew up in Columbia, MD and now has a very full house in Frederick. Ted and his wife have four children, two dogs, two cats, two goats and six chickens.

Ted is a member of the Kiwanis of Frederick, coaches youth soccer and enjoys outdoor activities, camping and fishing.

I had previously used Ted before and was very pleased so I called on him again due to the pleasant and speedy experience I had. If he isn't available when you call him you can believe he will respond within a few minutes. He puts 100% into the process and finds a way to get through a problem one way or the other.
