Stephen has worked within the mortgage industry for the past 21 years, starting as a Loan Officer, and working his way up to owning and operating his own mortgage Company, BeechTree Mortgage, Inc., in Cocoa Beach, FL. His career, here at Embrace, has proven to be very successful, as he demonstrates a true understanding of his customer’s needs and goals. Likewise, he is a company recognized member of the President’s Club since 2014. Stephen focuses on assisting Builders, Realtors and Home Buyers with Florida mortgage options and solutions to empower each individual Florida home buyer. This experienced Sales Manager is an expert in his field and takes pride in finding the right loan product for his clients, as he understands every situation differs and no two borrowers are the same. Stephen is also a member of FAMP – Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals and MBA – Mortgage Bankers Association. Currently he lives in Merritt Island, FL with his wife Karen Thaggard and their 3 children Blake, Brandi and Logan. His oldest son, Ryan, lives in Sarasota, FL. Stephen was born in Jacksonville, FL and raised in Virginia Beach, VA. He and his family love swimming at the beach or pool, surfing and boating; and of course, game night!
