Michael Colella is a Sales Manager with Embrace Home Loans, serving homebuyers and homeowners throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Florida, Maryland, and Virginia. With over 10 years of mortgage industry experience, Michael is known for his thorough, detail-oriented approach and commitment to helping clients feel confident at every stage of the home financing process.
In his role, Michael oversees branch mortgage sales operations while continuing to work directly with borrowers and referral partners. He specializes in Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo mortgages, refinances, and home equity loans, providing clear guidance and dependable support from application through closing.
Michael joined Embrace after a successful career as a Loan Officer with Garden State Home Loans and Ocean First Bank. He was drawn to Embrace’s proprietary mortgage products — such as our Property Value Certificate (PVC), Approved to Move, and Guaranteed On-Time Closing (GOTC). These innovative tools help buyers reduce contingencies, strengthen offers, and increase their chances of getting to the closing table — making Michael a trusted resource for clients and real estate partners looking for the best lender and best loan officer experience.
A lifelong New Jersey resident, Michael lives in Sewell, New Jersey, where he also grew up. Michael is a proud father to his two beautiful daughters and is expecting his first boy in 2026. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from West Virginia University and is passionate about giving back to the community through his support of the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, sports, collecting sports memorabilia, and exploring new food destinations with his family.
Clients and partners describe Michael as dependable, loyal, and always available. His client-focused mindset and commitment to service have made him a go-to mortgage advisor for buyers and homeowners who are looking for personalized guidance and long-term support — before, during, and after closing.
