Tyler Martinez is a Business Development Associate supporting Karla Melgar’s team in Embrace’s La PLata, MD office, where he’s been by her side for two years running. A people person with a customer service mindset, Tyler grew up in a family of mortgage bankers in Annapolis, MD, and Fredericksburg, VA.

Prior to joining Embrace, Tyler worked with Enterprise as an assistant branch manager, developing his customer service and management skills and garnering valuable sales experience. After a year and a half, he felt ready to join the industry where his mother, father, and grandmother made their living, with the goal of helping people’s homeownership dreams come true.

Tyler graduated from Roanoke College with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and played college baseball. He lives with his energetic black lab in Richmond, VA, where he just bought his first house. In his spare time, Tyler enjoys playing golf, hitting the gym, visiting the Outer Banks, and watching baseball, basketball, and football.
