Embrace welcomes April back to her true work home! She returned in part because of the true sense of teamwork that just isn’t found in most work environments. As a sales manager, she’ll focus on loan origination. She’s eager to work with our broad range of offerings, including the tried-and-true products like Conventional, FHA, and VA to solutions for first-time homebuyers, the self-employed, and others.
A hardworking financial specialist, April has previously worked with BB&T and Wells Fargo as a branch manager and financial advisor. She became adept at advising clients on how to invest their life savings for future earnings with mutual funds, stocks, bonds, and annuities. And as a branch manager, she was in charge of a team of tellers, customer service representatives, and loan officers. Her focus was growing branch assets and making well-informed loan decisions for each individual client’s needs.
April grew up in Bedford County, Virginia, and current lives in Campbell County. She attended Central Virginia Community College for two years to study Finance and has completed her Series 7, 66, and Life and Health license exams. Impressively, she’s also been a member of the Embrace President’s Club for more than 10 years. She and her husband, Mark, have a daughter and son, Alexis and Darrin, as well Melody, a granddaughter. When she’s not helping people into the home of their dreams, April is active with Living Water Ministries and enjoys decorating. Her idea of a perfect day would be a warm and sunny one spent poolside with her loving family.
