Susan Colella is a Senior Loan Officer with Embrace Home Loans, bringing decades of experience and a reputation for reliability, honesty, and exceptional service to homebuyers and referral partners throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and numerous states along the Eastern Seaboard.

Susan specializes in originating mortgage loans and working closely with real estate agents, attorneys, financial planners, and borrowers to ensure on-time, smooth closings. Known for being highly knowledgeable and always available, she takes pride in guiding clients through the mortgage process with clear communication and a steady, supportive approach — whether they are purchasing a new home or navigating a competitive market.

Before joining Embrace, Susan spent many successful years with Ocean First Bank, where she earned President’s Club honors as a Top 5 Producer and consistently ranked in the top 1% of producers nationwide with UWM. She joined Embrace through a strong recommendation and was drawn to the platform’s ability to support both her clients and her growing branch.

Susan currently lives in Berlin, New Jersey and grew up in Cherry Hill, raising her family for more than 35 years in Washington Township. She is a proud mother of five sons, grandmother to nine (with another one on the way), and a devoted dog mom to Coco, her beloved Morkie. Outside of work, Susan enjoys spending time with family, playing cards and board games, shopping, and relaxing at her beach house. She is also passionate about supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Association.
