Krysta Schilling recently joined the Embrace team as a junior loan officer, bringing a diverse background and a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams. Starting her career as a processor, she quickly advanced to pipeline manager and later became a licensed loan officer. Her previous experience at CMG (retail) and Premier Mortgage Lending (broker) has equipped her with the knowledge and skills to provide exceptional support to her clients and team.

One of the key factors that attracted her to Embrace was our unparalleled support staff for loans, scenarios, and marketing — a team she’s thrilled to be part of. In her new role, she is fully dedicated to supporting her team, offering not only professional expertise but also mental and emotional encouragement.

Originally from St. John, Indiana, Krysta now resides in Gallatin, Tenn., with her husband and their two beloved rescue dogs, Jocko and Indy. With a bachelor’s degree in Movement and Sports Science from Purdue University and an associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies from Ivy Tech Community College, she brings a unique perspective and adaptability gained from working in various industries over the past decade.

Outside of work, Krysta is an avid baker, specializing in sourdough, cookies, and cakes, and is eager to master crochet this year. A former varsity track athlete at Purdue, she’s completed seven half-marathons and embraced CrossFit in 2017, which remains a passion to this day. She also enjoys playing pickleball, a sport she discovered during the pandemic. Her idea of a perfect day? Sleeping in until 7 a.m., taking her dogs on a long off-leash adventure, and enjoying a homemade breakfast on her back porch.
