My only disappointment is that the rate lock-in expiration was scheduled for the same date as indicated in the initial contract. In my opinion, as a 36-year full-time agent, the lock-in should be such that a delay of closing has a grace period of at least 10 days. The contract date is what the buyer requests initially and I feel certain that all involved, with experience, in this real estate world we live in, know that that date is more apt to change than to stand.
