Embrace Home Loans hosted the Newport County Chamber of Commerce monthly after hours event at their headquarters in Middletown, Rhode Island. Local business owners crowded the smartly decorated Middletown facility, greeting old friends and colleagues, while new friends exchanged business cards over appetizers and drinks served by Blackstone Caterers. As this was the first such event hosted by Embrace, Kurt Noyce, President, used the opportunity to bring his guests up to speed on the company and its role in the community.  “For those of you less familiar with Embrace, we will celebrate our 30th Anniversary this spring.  Today we employ 623, in fifteen offices across the country, with over 450 of those employees here in Middletown.  And I’m pleased to report that despite the prolonged recession, over 200 new teammates were added last year. These ambitious and appreciative additions to the work force have good jobs, with good pay, bright futures, with confidence to shop in your stores and dine in your restaurants.”  Noyce stressed Embrace’s commitment to engage local merchants “from caterers to copywriters, tech support to training resources.” He also took great pride in pointing out that Embrace takes seriously its responsibility to serve the community noting that since 1996, Embrace and its giving employees have donated over $25 million to charities and held over 500 fundraisers.  “We’re honored to match our employees’ giving and humble to support their community outreach.  From painting Freebody Park, to weeding Norman Bird Sanctuary, from landscaping the Healing Co-op to cleaning Second Beach.”  Noyce credits his employees and their customers for making Embrace a Best Company to Work for in Rhode Island for the 7th straight year by Providence Business News, and a Best Company to Work for in America in 2012 by Fortune Magazine.  Noyce ended his brief comments with a local perspective.  “We’ve bought companies and launched operations across the country but Aquidneck Island is our home.  We’re proud to be a Chamber member... proud to be a neighbor.” ABOUT EMBRACE HOME LOANS®: Embrace Home Loans has been helping homeowners with their mortgage financing needs for over 29 years.
