At the NAHB International Builders' Show in January, economists agree that housing should see gradual improvements in 2011 as the country's economy and employment picture continue to improve. Citing job growth, NAHB chief economist David Crowe projected 575,000 single-family home starts in the year ahead -- a 21 percent gain from an estimated 475,000 units started last year.
