Julie Yowell

Julie Yowell has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry. After graduating with a degree in Commerce & Economics from Cumberland College in Williamsburg, KY, Julie began her banking and mortgage career in 1973. She worked for Second Bank and Trust, American Home Funding and Bank of America before joining the Embrace Home Loans team.

Julie loves helping first-time homebuyers realize their dreams of homeownership and is a trainer for the Virginia Housing Development Authority. She’s also very knowledgeable with VA, FHA and jumbo loans.

She is active with GPAAR (Greater Piedmont Area Association of Realtors) and has chaired fundraisers for SAFE (Service to Abused Families) for 15 years. Julie has served on the Vestry for her church, co-chaired the March of Dimes’ Annual Walkathon and is an active member of the Culpeper, Fauqier and Orange Chambers of Commerce.
